Hi, I am Terry Cuthbert. I am involved in the Barter Trade Dollar industry and run BarterZone Property and commercial division. I am also the Founder of Barter Trader Global a Trade Dollar Exchange. My role is as a coach and tutor of businesses and individuals. I educate on how to use Barter Trade Dollars in today’s business environment.

I have had over 21 years experience in Real Estate and owning businesses. I am 41 years old and was born in the suburb of Otara in South Auckland in New Zealand. My mum was a solo parent and I am 1 of 5 children, I am the third in line for my mum’s throne. My mum still lives in the same house we were all born in, it is a government housing corp house.
Here is a 720 degree view of my life as I would like you all to look around at least twice.
Yes I do have a sense of humour and it did get me in trouble a lot at school. I did all my schooling in Otara as I grew up.
In 1984 I left High School straight at the end of fifth form after the school certificate exams. I passed Maths, Tech Drawing and Science but loved Engineering and hated English (failed both).
I went door knocking and immediately found work. I changed jobs in 1985 and started an Engineering apprenticeship in Machine Setting – Production Management in a noisy factory, I hated it. The old saying get an apprenticeship behind you and you can go and do what you wanted thereafter.
When I was 21 years old I owned 80 properties as I learnt how to leverage finance against the value of property. The more property I had the easier it was get money. I virtually stole the property as finance companies and mortgage brokers would call me to come and take over debt. I purchased all these properties not long after the 1987 market crash, when people had to bail out due to personal reasons so I got some real bargains.
I lived off the income and sold the properties randomly but life was a roller coaster ride.
See I played rugby league for New Zealand as a 19 year old. I did an engineering degree in production management from 16 to 20 years old and saved money to buy my first property. I lived hard and had a secret lifestyle which I didn’t tell my friends about, this is where I lost the money that I made from property. Where I lost it, I spent it through indulgence.
My niche was sourcing other peoples problems doing a quick fix and moving it on. I was a top real estate agent but I did not enjoy this a career but I knew real estate was where the money was for me.
I always gravitated toward property and would leverage one up with finance and 9 times out of 10, I would draw the money down to purchase the property end up with $100,000 left over to spend on lifestyle. I would do this every month.
I stopped playing rugby league at 22 years old as I had to much on my mind to worry about sport.
I lost control of my weight and lived fast. I was always learning how to help people out of a problem because everyone was greedy and I was the go to person to sort them out.
I understood MLM, direct marketing and network marketing but I wasn’t prepared to go in that direction.
For the last 3 years I have been building a trade dollar company and have put all my energy into this product. So I have put all my energy into BarterZone Ltd and set up the Property and Commercial Division.
Making money is not hard but you have to make friends and help people as this is where the repeat business is for your continued success. Maintaining existing clients is paramount as chasing leads sometimes you don’t give service to the clients that matter and you lose them.
Here is where I coach and help my network affiliates to build their business network.
Ok you made a lot of contacts and friends, they like you and now you need to convert these leads to a sale.
Ask yourself why does the client need my product is it good for them can I get repeat business? Do you know what the client needs?
The product of Trade dollars will help them with purchasing power, and they get to keep their extra capital for contingencies and cash in the bank or their back pocket for themselves. So yes you can help the client and you will get repeat business.
The success here is you have become “The Unique Problem Solver” . You have solved a cashflow issue for the client and created purchasing power when they didn’t know they could have it.
